I watch it rain,
Every drop bouncing off the window grill onto my face,
Every drop refreshing my skin and soul,
Every drop wiping away to solace.
Every drop smudging away the filth,
Every drop reviving life from zilch.
I see the wash down of sorrow,
And see the many smiles one could borrow.
I watch as the couples share,
A romantic moment under the rain,
Walking down the streets with their feet bare.
I peek to see the greens cheer,
And dance to the beats of this melody here.
I watched as the haze took over,
And the beautiful flood of emotions took cover.
I watched as the rain began to sigh,
Mellowed down by the winds so high.
I watched it tremble back to form,
Not wanting to follow any norm.
I watched as the sky was a silky grey,
Still prettier than the one with a rainbow ray.
I watched it rain again, and again,
With hopes to shed all worries and pain.
